The Camden Bulldogs took down the Knights of West Florence August 30,2013.

The Bulldogs had a long, battle that was fought with courage, force, and pride. The Bulldogs took a loss last year to the Knights and they came back with a well fought victory.

The game was held at historic Zemp Stadium, the oldest stadium still in use today, and the home crowd roared as the Bulldogs won 23-20.

“I believe that our team looked like a well oiled-machine. We have the talent to go 14-1 this year,” Linebacker, Ben Hayes said.

The Bulldogs have gotten off to a great start for the season with a record of 2-1 taking a loss to the Hartsville Red Foxes September 6, 2013.

Camden High had a record of 9-2 last year only winning against Lakewood and Lugoff-Elgin, who is a large rival of the Bulldogs. The Camden Vs. Lugoff game will be held at Zemp Stadium September 20, 2013.

Also, Max Prep Sports will be viewing the Camden Vs. Lugoff rivalry for three days and the camera crew only picks twelve schools out of the country to view. The sponsor is Gatorade and this will be great for the publicity for both Camden High School and Lugoff-Elgin High School. This rivalry has been on-going since 1978 and the tradition has continued throughout the years.
